DESCRIPTION
This delightful studio is housed in an 18th century converted convent situated in the heart of the stylish Saint Germain quarter on the Left Bank. Famed for its chic boutiques, bountiful cafes and restaurants, beautiful buildings and artistic ambiance, Saint Germain bustles with activity. While centrally located on Rue du Cherche Midi, this studio is exceptionally calm and looks onto an interior cobblestone courtyard. This lovely studio is 30 square meters (about 330 square feet) of space and a wall-mounted Murphy bed comfortably accommodating 2 people.
LIVING ROOM AND DINING ROOM
The living room with its gentle color scheme and three large windows is bright and cheerful. Examples of Parisian architecture abound such as the marble fireplace, the tomette tiled floor and the paneled wall moldings. Appointed with a comfortable two person couch, a deep armchair, a writing desk and a folding-leaf round table with chairs this room is comprehensively appointed. The table can seat 4 people for a meal. There is a television with local channels and a still-functioning VHS player.
BEDROOM
In the studio a wall mounted Murphy bed serves the purpose of maximizing space. When the cabinet is opened, the space is converted into a bedroom. The double bed is dressed with quality linens, pillows and a duvet. Built-in shelving and the deep window sill function as bedside tables. There is also plenty of closet space along the wall with the Murphy bed. The molded panels in the living room wall also open up into wardrobes.
KITCHEN
The black and white motif kitchen is well equipped. There is a deep sink, refrigerator with freezer, electric stove with two burners, hood fan, microwave, toaster oven, and a combination washer and dryer.
BATHROOM
There is one full black and white tiled shower room located just off of the kitchen with a shower, sink and toilet.
