"From the moment that we arrived at the apartment, I knew I had made the right choice. There were four of us, me, my husband, mother and aunt, (mother and aunt are in their early eighties). I breathed a sigh of relief as the big heavy outer door clicked open onto a quite courtyard with timeless light. The inner door to the actual building opened onto a "perfect" stairway and tiny elevator. We could have been in any era at that point. Finally, the door to the apartment opened to reveal a lovely, bright and elegant apartment that we truly enjoyed and relaxed in each and every day. The location is unbelievable--it was our first time in Paris, so perhaps there are other equally well located spots, but truly, we felt so chic and safe. Our contact, Tamara, was so kind and polite and helpful. The Place des Voges, the restaurants, the Chemin Vert Metro literally right around the corner, the neighborhood feel, the peaceful sleeps--we can't wait to return to Paris."

"We are having a fantastic visit. Your flat is so....perfect!"

Our recently renovated, two bedroom, two bathroom apartment on the Rue des Tournelles is less than a three minute walk from the Place des Vosges.

Living Room

This 835 square foot apartment, on the first floor (second floor American with elevator) of a 19th century "Regency" building has been lovingly renovated and restored. The old herringbone floors shine as they reflect the light from the floor to ceiling windows. The grand plaster molding sits majestically atop the 12' high walls, and a gold leaf Napoleon III mirror once again hangs above the 19th century marble mantel of the living room.

Master Bedroom

There is a "very comfortable" large queen sized (160cm/63" wide) mattress in the master bedroom and large (90cm/35.5"wide) twin mattresses in the 2nd bedroom which can also be made into a (180cm/71" wide) king size bed. Both bedrooms look out onto a very quiet courtyard.

What a joy to wake up to coffee and croissants at the slate counter-top of our open style, fully equipped kitchen. There are lots of bakeries andfood shops minutes from the apartment door. In fact, the largest outdoor market in Paris near Place Bastille on Rue Richard Lenoir is just a 5 minute walk away.

The 11 sq ft shower of the master bathroom is roomy and comfortable, and the 1920's Metro tiles help evoke a wonderful retro feel to the otherwise contemporary second full bathroom.

All amenities was chosen for design and practicality, from the Miele washer-dryer to the LCD television and the code free DVD player. Even the quilts are hypoallergenic white Hungarian goose down. Everything is top notch, right down to the large black and white landscape photographs by American artist, Stuart Rome.

In the apartment you'll also find our guidebook to the neighborhood; favorite restaurants, cafes, wine shops, bakeries, and markets. You could spend a week in Paris and never leave Le Marais, even though the Seine, the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Musee D'Orsay are just a short walk away.

  1. We loved the apartment! It is so typically French — giant windows, herringbone floors, high ceilings. Loads of antique character with modern amenities. The area is great, in-between the Marais and the Bastille. There are 3 subway stops within walking distance, several cafes/restaurants, and several pastisseries. We even ended up at a “philosophy” cafe where the locals discussed world events and local politics. At the end of our days, we always felt like we were coming “home” to our apartment. The locals were helpful and very kind to us as we spoke very little French. All you have to do is try and they so appreciate it. This is by far the way to stay in Europe. And this owner is wonderful at keeping up the property and responding to tenants in a quick and professional manner. We will stay here again.

  2. French charm and modern amenities and comforts make you feel like you are living in someone’s home. The location is great and staying in this place in the Marais makes you feel like a Parisian. Tamara gives friendly, reliable, and professional service. As a Canadian she knows what North Americans expect and her company delivers! There is no need to ever stay in a hotel again!

  3. Merci Beaucoup Deluxe Paris Rentals.

My family and I had a magical holiday in Paris. A big part of that was due to the wonderful flat we stayed in on Rue des Tournelles. It was perfect for our group of 5. It’s beautiful, well maintained and had the French feel we were looking for – herringbone floors, high ceilings and the tall windows. The layout is great for a large group. The comfortable living room with two sofa’s and chair. The dining area for 6. With two bedrooms and two baths we all had our own space if needed. The kitchen was well appointed. Having a washing machine and dryer is a plus and allowed us to pack light for our 8 day holiday. There were a number of helpful guide books so lighten your luggage and leave yours behind. The WI-Fi worked great.

Rue des Tournelles was a wonderful location. We were close to everything. 2 metro stop and walking distance to so much. There are 3 food stores (G-20, Franprix, Monoprix) nearby along with fromagerie, Vin, Boulanger, meat/ poultry stores. So after a long day of sightseeing/ shopping we enjoyed cooking dinner in and relaxing

Eirwen was wonderful to work with prior to our trip and Lee upon are arrival & departure. Taxi Robert who Eirwen recommend was great too.

I’d recommend this flat and Pairs Deluxe Rental to anyone coming to Paris.
This was our best holiday todate

  4. Charming and modern Parisian apartment on a quiet street (Rue des Tournelles). the two bedroom/2 bath apartment is close to the Chemin Vert Metro stop which is just around the corner, but also only a few blocks further is the Bastille Metro which has a multitude of trains as well as buses.

The apartment can sleep 6 persons with a very comfortable pull out sofabed in the living room. Approximately 3 blocks to the Place des Vosges which was fantastic. We were checked in by the Paris Deluxe representative Lee who is very attentive to emails and phone calls in the event you’ve got any questions or issues with the apartment but its most likely you’ll hoave no issues at all. The apartment comes well stocked with linens, towels, soap, etc. We will most definately consider staying in this apartment again on future return trips to Paris. Enjoy.

  5. The perfect Paris apartment in the perfect neighborhood. Four of us shared the Rue des Tournelles apartment for a little more than a week. The apartment was very comfortable and felt very French. One flight up from the ground floor with a cute little elevator when you needed it. Tall, old fashioned windows with a view of the charming street and of the courtyard from the bedroom. Plus all the modern amenities…including air conditioning. Hard to find in Paris but it was a lifesaver during a heatwave of 90 plus days. Having a washer and dryer was great and the kitchen was larger and better equipped than mine at home.

And the location! A block from the Place des Vosges which became our shortcut to all the fromageries and bakeries on Rue St. Antoine. Don’t miss some of the many great restaurants nearby. Le Petit Marché and L’Ange 20 were our favorites. The Sunday market at Bastille is not to be missed either. The management company was always helpful and available. Can’t wait to go back.
