DESCRIPTION
This exquisite gem is located on Rue des Grands Augustins, one block away from the river in beautiful Saint Germain. It is kitty corner from the luxury Relais Christine hotel as well as being steps away from the restaurant of three star Michelin chef Jacques Cagna. Known for its numerous cafes and stylish shops, this area is always buzzing with vitality. The apartment is on the first floor (one flight of stairs up from the ground floor) of an 18th century building. With windows that look over the interior cobblestone courtyard, the apartment is calm and quiet. Fully restored and decorated with impeccable taste, the property is extremely well laid out. With about 400 square feet of space, one bedroom, and a convertible sofa in the living room, it can accommodate up to 3 guests.
LIVING ROOM AND DINING ROOM
Upon entering the apartment, there is a large space with tall windows which incorporates the living room, dining area and open kitchen. Wall to wall restored oak floors along with a gorgeous period marble fireplace give a sense of history.
Professionally decorated in light neutral tones, the apartment is a study in understated elegance. There is a comfortable couch (that converts into a sofabed), a wooden coffee table, a leather ottoman, and a round dining table with matching upholstered chairs. There is a flat screen cable television that receives international channels such as BBC World and CNN International.
The antique patina dining table overlooks the courtyard and can seat up to four people.
BEDROOM
The bedroom features a tall Queen size bed dressed in quality linens with a beige toile de jouy bedskirt, down pillows and a duvet. There is one large window, with drapes, that overlooks the interior courtyard of the building. The bedroom has tall hanging closets as well as wall sconces for reading in bed. The bedroom decoration is finished with a kartell design chair and a convenient desk for working.
KITCHEN
The brand new open kitchen with custom cabinetry is fully equipped. The kitchen is outfitted with sink, dishwasher, washer / dryer, refrigerator, freezer, electric vitro-ceramic stove, electric oven, hood fan and microwave.
BATHROOM
There is one new beige marble shower room in the apartment. The bathroom has beautiful chrome fixtures including a rain shower head.
POWDER ROOM
The separate powder room is accessible from the living room making it ideal for entertaining. It has a toilet and a washbasin.
This charming St Germain apartment has undergone a full renovation to enhance its historic beauty while integrating modern comforts. The apartment has beautiful original hardwood floors and large windows in every room. Architectural features include an original fireplace and crown moldings.

A little gem of an apt…just steps away from gourmet restaurants, boulangeries…and a short walk to the River Seine, Louvre, Notre Dame. Truly an ideal location for a stay in Paris. The apt is a brilliant use of space, containing all needed amenities. We especially liked the Nespresso maker! The contact people (Axel, Tamara) were very helpful with any questions & recommendations.
