I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay in Paris at your lovely flat on rue du Cherche Midi!  The location couldn't have been more convenient, and the apartment itself was so comfortable! It was a wonderful coming-home place during our Christmas-time in Paris. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I hope to do business with you again!

DESCRIPTION

This spacious apartment is located on Rue du Cherche-Midi in the heart of Saint Germain. Known for its numerous cafes and stylish shops this area is always buzzing with vitality. The apartment is on the first floor (one flight of stairs up from the ground floor) of an 18th century building that was once a convent. With windows that look over the interior cobblestone courtyard and terraced walkways of the building, this apartment is exceptionally calm and quiet. Fully restored and decorated, the apartment is extremely well laid out. With 55 square meters (about 600 square feet) of space, one bedroom, and two pull out couches in the living room, it can potentially accommodate up to 5 guests.

LIVING ROOM AND DINING ROOM

Upon entering the apartment there is a large space with 3.5 meter high beam-lined ceilings and tall windows which incorporates the living room, dining area and open kitchen. Wall to wall Sisal carpeting, stark white walls and well thought out lighting give this space a sense of purity. Tastefully decorated in beige with plum accents and warm dark wood the living room is well-appointed and inviting. There are two comfortable couches that can each fold out into beds (one queen bed and one double bed), a large coffee table, a work desk, and an entertainment unit with a stereo, DVD player and cable television that receives some international channels such as BBC World and CNN International. Between the living room and the open kitchen is a dining table that can seat 4 – 6 people. It has folding leaves, which when closed, allow the table to be pushed up against the wall to seat 2 people.

BEDROOM

The bedroom is comfortable in size with a large Queen size bed dressed in quality linens, down pillows and a duvet. Light-wood colored dressers and shelves comprehensively furnish the room. There is one large window, with drapes, that overlooks the interior courtyard of the building. Leading off of the bedroom towards the bathroom is a large closet with hangers allowing for plenty of storage space.

KITCHEN

The open kitchen with custom cabinetry is fully equipped with up to date appliances. It features a long bar area that can seat up to 4 people. The kitchen is outfitted with sink, dishwasher, clothes washer, refrigerator, freezer, electric vitro-ceramic stove, electric oven, hood fan and microwave.

BATHROOM

There is one full bathroom in the apartment that adjoins the bedroom. The spacious bathroom with pale blue tiles incorporates a sink, toilet and bathtub with shower fixture and glass screen.

  1. Our family of five stayed at this apartment. It was clean, convient and comfortable. It was the first time in travelling that I booked an apartment and I definitely would go this route again. I would recommend this apartment for a great place to stay while visiting Paris.
